COVID-19 

The Nelson Mandela Capture Site is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of

South African history. Through our exhibition and education centre, we act as  an economic driver in our community; helping to create and sustain jobs and promoting tourism in the province.

In line with government measures, The Capture Site is closed during the national lock down. This has had a dramatic impact on our ability to raise income through ticket sales and pay our operational expenses. Because of this, your donations will be essential to our survival during this difficult time.

You can use also purchase a ticket, gift card or a membership which you can redeem once our Visitor Centre has reopened.
